"I love the light in early December. Evening comes early and I can record effects that take place, normally, while I am cooking supper. This scene at my favorite neighborhood lake was painted between 3:15 and 4:30 P.M. this December. I enjoyed the long shadows, the reddened shrubbery and brilliantly lit shrub, and the dark water behind it. " -- SFG
