"I took my class to a nearby National Recreation Area early this fall. As we crossed the footbridge and looked down on the creek below with its wild foliage, I spotted this tree. Its turning leaves exhibited an inner light, so often apparent under overcast skies. I was attracted by its wondrous color harmony and flickering light. " -- SFG
