"This beautiful lake is actually the main reservoir for Denver, but provides recreation and scenic views. I planned to paint there while my husband cycled over nearby passes. When I arrived, the shoreline was crowded because there was an air show that day! After finding a lucky parking place, I set up my easel, figuring "safety in numbers" and enjoyed the show...plus, I had a painting and met many friendly Colorado visitors." --- Susan Greaves
