ARE GREAVES' PAINTINGS ON CANVAS?
Yes. Normally, Greaves uses Raymar panels which are canvas on panel. Raymar uses only archival materials which do not deteriorate over time. Having the canvas fixed to a stable panel prevents the crazed paint that so often develops on a flexible stretched canvas. Additionally, because there are no stretcher bars, cracks do not occur along the inside edge of the bar.
